Paradise Valley homes are large, and plenty of the rooms only get used when family visits. A dog or cat that wanders into an empty guest suite, a casita, or a media room can use the same corner for weeks, and with the door mostly closed, no one notices until guests arrive and mention a smell.
By then the urine has dried and been reused a few times. It usually sits in the less-visible places: beside the bed, inside the walk-in closet, or behind a chair in the corner.
In a room nobody has watched, we expect more than one spot. We go through each space, closet included, and work out how far each one reaches under the surface.
Un-Duz-It, our enzyme, is applied before cleaning. It breaks down the uric acid crystals responsible for the odor and is given dwell time, since it cannot work instantly.
Hot water extraction then flushes the carpet and pulls out the residue the enzyme released. Air movers dry each room before we move on, so drying keeps pace with a larger home.
