The reason cleaning alone does not fix the smell, and what actually does. $75 to $150 per area depending on how deep it went.
You do not need an accident to want this. The treatment works on dander, oils, and the general lived-in pet smell that builds into carpet over years, not just urine. Plenty of our pet owners add it with no accidents at all, simply because the house smells like a house afterward instead of like a dog.
Priced per area, not per accident, and added to whatever we are cleaning. Same severity pricing on upholstery, area rugs, and mattresses. Not discounted online, because it is a separate treatment rather than part of the cleaning.

This is the thing almost nobody explains, and it is the reason people end up cleaning the same carpet three times.
Urine does not sit on carpet. It soaks through the face fiber into the backing, then into the pad, and on a bad spot into the subfloor. As it travels down it spreads outward, so the wet area underneath is always bigger than the stain on top. When it dries, it leaves uric acid crystals behind.
A surface cleaning removes the discoloration you can see. The crystals stay in the pad. Then a humid day comes, they reactivate, and the smell is back, usually within a week or two. That is not a bad cleaning. That is a cleaning that was never going to fix that problem.
This is the part we want to say plainly, because it keeps people from calling: we have seen worse. Whatever is in your house right now, we have walked into it before, and nobody on our crew is going to react, comment, or tell anyone.
Pet accidents nobody caught for months. A rental somebody trashed. A house that got away from you during a hard year, an illness, a new baby, a move that never finished. An older parent's place. A room you have kept the door closed on. None of that is new to us, and none of it changes how we treat you.
You are calling to fix it. That is the only part we care about. Show us the worst spot first so we can actually help.

Because the urine is not on the carpet, it is under it. Urine soaks through the face fiber into the backing, the pad, and sometimes the subfloor, and it spreads outward as it goes. A surface cleaning removes the stain you can see and leaves the crystals in the pad. Every humid day those reactivate, which is why the smell returns.
$75 for a mild area, $110 moderate, and $150 severe, priced per area rather than per accident. On upholstery, rugs, and mattresses it is priced the same way by severity. It is not discounted online, because it is a separate treatment rather than part of the cleaning.
Size, how deep it went, and how long it sat. One accident cleaned up the same day is mild. A spot a dog has used repeatedly for months is severe, because it is in the pad and probably the subfloor. We tell you which one we are looking at before we treat it.
Usually, and sometimes not. If urine has soaked the pad and reached the subfloor in a large area, the honest answer is that treatment helps but replacing the pad in that section is what actually solves it. We will tell you that rather than selling you a treatment that cannot win.
Yes, we use Un-Duz-It. It breaks down the uric acid crystals that hold the odor, which is what a surface cleaner cannot do. It needs dwell time to work, so the treatment goes down before the cleaning, not after.
Cat urine is more concentrated than dog urine and smells stronger for the same amount, so it often reads as severe when the spot looks small. It also tends to be in the same place repeatedly, which is what gets it into the pad.
On a fresh accident you blot up right away, often yes. On anything that already dried and soaked in, the problem is depth, and a spray bottle does not get down to where the odor is. Never use a steam cleaner or hot water on fresh urine either, because heat sets the stain.
Yes, both, priced by severity the same way. A mattress is the one place we are most careful about moisture, since it has to dry properly.
