Carpet Cleaning Services in the East Valley, AZ

Professional Carpet Cleaning Across the East Valley

Carpet cleaning removes the dust, soil, pet hair, and allergens that settle down into the fiber where vacuuming never reaches. In the Valley, that's mostly fine desert grit tracked in off the driveway, and it's abrasive, so it grinds at the fiber every time someone walks on it.

Pfaff Cleaning Co. provides carpet cleaning throughout Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale, Queen Creek, Ahwatukee, and Sun Lakes. Hot water extraction with orbital agitation, wall-to-wall, stairs, hallways, and closets.

What We Clean

Wall-to-wall carpet, high-traffic areas, stairs and carpeted steps, pet-affected areas, and commercial and office carpet.

Area rugs are a different job. Wool and natural fiber rugs need different chemistry and different handling, and the wrong solution causes browning or dye bleed that doesn't come back. That work lives on our area rug cleaning page.

Signs Your Carpet Needs Cleaning

Carpet that looks dingy right after vacuuming. Stains that won't lift with spot cleaner. A musty or stale smell in carpeted rooms. Matted traffic paths that are visibly darker than the rest of the room. Pet odors that keep coming back. Carpet that feels stiff or crunchy underfoot.

That crunchy feeling is usually detergent residue from a previous cleaning, not dirt. Over-shampooing without proper rinsing leaves soap in the fiber, and soap attracts soil, so the carpet gets dirty faster every time.

Our Approach to Carpet Cleaning

Every carpet is different. Fiber type, soil level, traffic patterns, stains, and pets all change what the right approach is, so we look at your carpet before we start instead of running every job through the same process.

We use hot water extraction with orbital agitation for most jobs. The orbital head works solution into the fiber before extraction, which pulls more soil out and cuts dry time significantly compared to extraction alone.

We'll also tell you what won't come out. Heavily soiled traffic lanes that have worn down, permanent staining, bleach spots, and pet urine that's reached the pad are past what surface cleaning recovers. Cleaning improves them. It doesn't erase them, and anyone who tells you otherwise is setting you up to be disappointed.

Our Carpet Cleaning Process

Inspection. We walk the rooms with you, check fiber type and soil level, look at the stains you're concerned about, and tell you what to expect.

Pre-treatment. Solution matched to the fiber and the soil. Pet areas and grease spots get pre-treated separately, not just sprayed over with the rest of the room.

Agitation. Orbital agitation works the solution down into the fiber instead of leaving it sitting on top. This is the step most cheap cleanings skip, and it's the difference between the surface looking better and the carpet actually being cleaner.

Hot water extraction. Soil and solution both come out. Proper rinsing matters as much as the cleaning, because residue left behind is what makes carpet re-soil fast.

Final walkthrough. We look at it together before we pack up.

What to Expect on Cleaning Day

Most appointments run one to three hours depending on square footage and carpet condition.

We move light furniture as part of the service on request. Appliances, heavy or oversized pieces, and anything with breakables on or inside it stay put, and we clean right up to and around them.

Carpet is typically dry to the touch in a few hours. Airflow helps, so run the AC or a ceiling fan. Full dry time depends on humidity, airflow, and how soiled the carpet was.

Common Carpet Types We Clean

Nylon, polyester, triexta, olefin, berber, plush, frieze, cut pile, and loop pile.

Fiber matters more than people expect. Olefin releases soil easily but wicks stains back up as it dries, so it needs different extraction. Wool-blend berber browns if it's over-wet. Nylon takes heat well and cleans up better than almost anything else.

If you don't know what you have, that's fine. We identify it during the inspection and adjust.

Why Arizona Carpet Gets Dirty Faster

The dust here is fine and it's abrasive. It works down past the tips of the fiber into the base, where a vacuum's suction doesn't reach, and then it grinds against the fiber every time someone walks through. That's what wears traffic lanes down, and once the fiber is physically worn, no cleaning brings it back.

Getting that grit out on a regular cycle is the single biggest thing that extends carpet life in a Valley home. Most households do well every 12 to 18 months, sooner with pets or kids.

Carpet Cleaning FAQs

Please reach us at (480) 389-8415 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We move light furniture like chairs, small sofas, side tables, ottomans, and coffee tables on request. We don't move beds, oversized or heavy pieces, or anything with electronics or breakables on or inside it. We'll clean right up to and around anything that stays put. If you want those areas done, clear the tops and move what you can before we arrive.

Professional carpet cleaning can help remove dust, dirt, pet hair, and other particles trapped within carpet fibers. While cleaning is not a replacement for allergy treatment, removing buildup from carpets can help create a cleaner and fresher home environment.

We clean all common residential and commercial carpet types, including nylon, polyester, wool blends, and Berber. We identify your carpet's material during inspection and adjust our approach accordingly.

Most homes benefit from professional carpet cleaning every 12 to 18 months. Homes with pets, children, allergies, or heavy foot traffic may need more frequent cleanings to help maintain cleaner-looking carpets.

We tailor our approach to your carpet's condition, using low moisture cleaning for many situations and hot water treatment when a deeper restorative clean is the better choice. We choose the right approach based on your carpet rather than running every job through the same process.

Drying time depends on carpet thickness, airflow, humidity, and the amount of cleaning needed. Many carpets are dry within several hours after cleaning. Increasing airflow with fans or open doors can help speed up the drying process.

We can help improve many pet stains and odors with targeted cleaning treatments. However, some stains or odors may be permanent if they have reached the carpet backing, padding, or subfloor. We will inspect the affected areas and recommend the best option for your carpet.

Yes. We use professional cleaning methods and carefully selected products designed for residential homes. We recommend allowing carpets to dry completely before allowing children or pets back onto freshly cleaned areas.

Carpet protectant helps create a protective barrier around carpet fibers, making it easier to clean up future spills and helping reduce how quickly dirt and stains absorb into the carpet.

Yes. We offer optional carpet protectant and deodorizer treatments to help refresh your carpet and provide additional care after cleaning. These treatments can help maintain a cleaner appearance and extend the fresh feeling after your service.

Carpet cleaning pricing depends on factors such as the number of rooms, carpet condition, size of the areas being cleaned, and any additional treatments needed. Contact Pfaff Cleaning Co. for a free quote based on your home's specific needs.
