Most showers are priced from a photo, so you know the number before we come out.
You should not have to block out an afternoon to find out what a shower costs. Send a picture with the buildup visible to (480) 389-8415 and we will price it the same day.
Showers are the one thing we will not quote off a square footage number, because a 3x5 shower with light soap film and a 3x5 shower with ten years of calcium on stone are not the same job. A photo tells us which one we are looking at.
And we tell you what will not come off before you book. That is the part most people have never been told, and it is the difference between a result you are happy with and one you argue about.
A lower number usually means less time on the buildup. That's the difference between a restored shower and a rinsed one.
Hard water in the Valley leaves calcium and scale on everything, and on a shower it goes onto the glass, the tile, the metal, and down into the grout. A dedicated hard water cleaner takes the deposits off, and on most showers the difference is dramatic.
Etching is different. Once mineral has bitten into the surface of glass or soft stone, that is damage rather than buildup. Nothing takes it out, and anyone telling you they can buff it away on glass is selling you something.
Run your fingertip across it. If it feels rough, that is likely etching. If it feels smooth but looks cloudy, that is usually deposit. We check it while we are there and tell you which you have, including on the glass, even though shower glass is not work we take on. Knowing the answer is worth something on its own.
We color seal showers and plenty of them hold up for years. We still do not guarantee them the way we guarantee floors.
A shower is wet constantly, gets hit with soap and product, and often has moisture moving behind the tile that nobody can see. Those things decide how long any sealer lasts in there and they are things no one controls. We have seen it go both ways, which is why we will price it but will not promise you a timeline on it.
Floors are different, and those carry our one year guarantee.
We do not take a razor blade to glass or tile. It is the fastest way to move bonded calcium and it is also how glass gets scratched permanently and glazed tile gets chipped. Plenty of people try it at home and some cleaners do it on the job. We will not.
We do not put an acidic cleaner on travertine, marble, or limestone. It will take the deposit off and etch the stone underneath doing it, and that is not a trade we are willing to make on your behalf.
Bonded calcium is the honest case. Deposit that has been building for years does not always come off completely. We work it with the right product and real dwell time and we get what is gettable without wrecking the surface underneath. Sometimes that is a shower you would swear was new. Sometimes it is a big improvement with some deposit still in the stone.
We tell you which one you are looking at rather than promising the first and delivering the second.
We do not regrout a whole shower from scratch. Repairing cracked or missing sections is our work. Tearing the grout out of an entire enclosure and starting over is a tile contractor job, and we say so before we come out rather than after.
We do not replace, repair, or remove tile. If a tile is cracked, loose, or hollow underneath, we tell you before we start, since that is a tile contractor job too.
We do not do shower glass work. We will tell you what you are looking at, though, and that is usually where the money gets saved.
If the glass is etched, do not pay anybody. No product and no company takes mineral back out of the surface of glass, and people spend hundreds finding that out.
If it is deposit sitting on top, that is often a job you can do yourself in an afternoon with a dedicated hard water cleaner from the hardware store and some patience. We will tell you that rather than let you book a glass restoration company for something a $15 bottle handles. If it is beyond that, we will say so and point you to someone who actually does glass.
We do not replace caulk. If the caulk is failing, cleaning it will not fix it.
We do not fix what is behind the tile. If a shower is leaking into the wall, that is a plumbing and tile problem and cleaning the surface just hides it for a while.
Two showers the same size can be a two hour job and a two day job. Light soap film on glazed ceramic and ten years of bonded calcium on travertine are not the same work, and anyone quoting both at one number is either overcharging the first or planning to renegotiate the second.
That is the whole reason we price from a photo. You get a real number instead of a range that moves once somebody is standing in your bathroom.
Unless you tell us otherwise, we quote a shower as a deep clean plus grout color seal, and on natural stone a clear seal on the stone itself. Want less than that? Say so and we price it that way.
What the price covers is product matched to the surface and enough dwell time to break deposit loose, rather than scrubbing harder with something aggressive. Fast is what causes damage in a shower, and the damage is permanent.

From a photo. Text a picture with the buildup visible to (480) 389-8415 and we price it. Size, condition, and grout type change the job enough that quoting over the phone is guessing, and it saves you an appointment just to get a number.
We can, but most people would rather not book a window for an estimate. A photo tells us what we need, and you get a number the same day instead of next week.
Deposits still sitting on the surface usually come off with a dedicated hard water cleaner. Once mineral has etched into glass or stone, that is damage rather than buildup and nothing removes it. We tell you which one you have before we start.
Usually. That is normally bacteria and soap residue in the grout rather than a dye, and it comes out with the right cleaner and agitation. What does not come out is grout that has been stained by a colored product or discolored unevenly over years, and color sealing is the fix for that.
We repair grout in showers, cracked or missing sections, and we do not tear out and regrout an entire shower from scratch. That is a tile contractor job and we will say so rather than take it on halfway.
Yes, and plenty of them hold up for years. We do not guarantee shower color sealing the way we guarantee floors, because constant water, soap, and moisture behind the tile are things no one controls. We have seen it go both ways, so we price it and let you decide.
No, we do not do shower glass work, but we will tell you which problem you have and what it is worth spending. Etched glass cannot be fixed by anyone, so do not pay for it. Deposit sitting on the surface is often something you can handle yourself with a dedicated hard water cleaner and some patience, and we will say so rather than let you book a restoration company for it.
We do not replace it. If the caulk is failing or moldy through, cleaning will not fix it and you want it cut out and redone, which is a different trade.
Send a picture with the buildup visible to (480) 389-8415 and we will price it the same day.
