We're in Cave Creek all the time, and we take on shower cleaning across the city.
Showers on Cave Creek well water build up scale on the fixtures, film on the tile, and mineral in the grout, and a dedicated hard water cleaner breaks most of it down. Text us a photo of your shower for a price.

Nobody should have to give up an afternoon just to learn what a shower costs. A 3x5 stall with a light soap film and a walk-in travertine shower with ten years of well-water scale are completely different jobs, and size, condition, and grout type all move the number. A picture shows us which one you have. A phone description is a guess.
Shower floors and pans we have cleaned around the Valley.

Hard water leaves calcium and scale on everything it touches, and in a shower that means tile, metal, and the grout lines. A dedicated hard water cleaner breaks down most surface deposits, and on most showers the change is dramatic. Calcium that has bonded deep into grout or tile does not always come out completely, so full removal is never guaranteed.
Etching is a different thing. Once minerals have eaten into the surface of glass or soft stone, it is damage rather than buildup, and nothing removes it. Drag a fingertip across it: rough usually means etching, smooth but cloudy usually means deposit. We check and tell you which before we start.
A razor blade moves bonded calcium fast, and it also scratches glass for good and chips glazed tile. Acidic cleaners etch travertine, marble, and limestone on contact. We use neither. We work the deposit with the right product and real dwell time and take off what will come off without harming the surface. Sometimes that is a shower you would swear is new. Sometimes it is a big improvement with some deposit still in the stone. You hear which to expect before we begin.
Soap film and surface scale usually come off. So does the pink or orange tint in grout, which is normally bacteria and soap residue rather than a dye. Pebble floors and mosaic pans improve a lot, though their texture holds onto more than a flat tile.
Grout that has gone patchy in color over the years will not clean back to even, and color sealing is the answer there. Caulk that has failed needs cutting out and replacing by someone else.
We repair cracked or missing sections of grout, but we do not regrout an entire shower from scratch, which is tile contractor work. We do not replace, repair, or remove tile, we do not work on shower glass, and we do not replace caulk.
Plenty of people pay to have etched glass treated when nothing could ever have cleared it, and knowing that ahead of time saves real money.
Well water and hauled water in the foothills can carry a lot of dissolved mineral, and a shower used every day shows it within a couple of years. Travertine and slate showers, common in the Santa Fe and territorial-style homes here, hold onto that scale in their pores and pits. Older homes with original showers often have calcium bonded right into the grout after decades of use.
Most of what people assume is ruined turns out to be buildup, not damage, and buildup usually comes a long way back. Before paying for a remodel, it is worth learning which one you have.
A casita shower that sits unused for weeks is not spared. Water left standing on the tile after the last guest dries into spots, and the next round of visitors adds more. Those showers often clean up especially well because the buildup is fresher.
Showers are priced from a photo, so the number is set before we drive up.

Most of it, usually. Well water can leave heavier deposits than city water, and the oldest, most bonded calcium may not come out completely. Removal is never guaranteed, and we tell you how far it should go before we start.
No, only partial repairs of cracked or missing grout. A full tear-out is tile contractor work, and the photo usually tells us which one you need.
No. We can tell you whether the glass is etched or just coated, and since etching is permanent, that is worth knowing before you hire anyone.
Not until you know whether you are looking at buildup or damage. Dark grout and large tile show every bit of scale and make a shower look worse than it is, and buildup usually improves a lot.
