We do upholstery cleaning in Cave Creek all the time.
Each fabric piece in a Cave Creek home is checked by tag code, then cleaned low-moisture or with hot water extraction, whichever it can take. Add your pieces below and send the price when ready, or call (480) 389-8415 from 7am to 8pm, seven days.
The difference between a cleaning and a good cleaning is time. We take ours.
Price it yourselfCave Creek furniture leads a dusty life. Couches near the back slider, leather chairs by a view window, and patio sets under the ramada all collect the fine grit that drifts in off dirt roads and open desert.
Pfaff Cleaning Co. is locally owned and Arizona based. The main upholstery cleaning page covers our method and every area we serve.

On leather we use a cleaner with the right pH for hide, and we strongly suggest adding conditioning, since any cleaning pulls out some of the natural oils that keep it supple.
“We had a top to bottom cleaning today, Upholstery Cleaning, Area Rug Cleaning, Dryer Vent Cleaning and Pet treatment …”
“Pfaff were amazing! Our sectional looks brand new and with a big dog in the house that says a lot! They were very communicative and informed us of all our options!”
“Very professional and do amazing work. My furniture looks amazing.”
On fabric that can take it, we use hot water extraction, what most people call steam cleaning.
Add-ons you can choose: fabric protectant, deodorizer, and a dedicated pet stain and odor treatment that is handled as its own process instead of folded into the regular clean.
Sixty dollars covers a quick pass over the top of the fabric. The surface dust lifts, and whatever has worked into the cushions and the seams is left exactly where it was.
So the old spots return. A spill that reached the foam travels back up as the cushion dries, typically inside a week or two, and it brings its smell along. The stain was never pulled out, only spread thinner and left to wick.
For $127.50 online, $150 regular, the whole sofa gets cleaned: every cushion, the back, both arms, the seams, and the deck under the seat cushions. The product is matched to the fiber and given time to work, and extraction draws it back out instead of driving it into the fill.
The fiber gets checked before anything touches it. Use the wrong chemistry on the wrong fabric and it can brown or bleed, and that kind of mistake is permanent.
Pieces we have cleaned around the Valley.

Most pieces are dry within the hour, not cushions that stay damp into the weekend. Our Rotovac Monsoon pulls more suction than most truck mounts, so the rinse water leaves the fabric instead of settling into the foam. The tank gets filled with hot water from your sink, the machine sits on drop cloths, and up to 200 feet of hose reaches the rooms farthest from it. Cushion fills and fabrics give up moisture at their own pace, so some take a little longer.
The normal outcome is a piece that looks cared for again. We know how these fabrics behave and how far each one can be pushed.
A stain only gets called permanent after we have worked on it, with several professional chemistries and extra agitation, all within the limits of the fabric code. Some marks are damage rather than dirt: faded color from afternoon sun, dye that has bled, or a spot already set by an off-the-shelf cleaner. Cleaning cannot undo those, and we sort the job into what will and will not change before we start.

The truck carries Dri-Pod 360 air movers plus a low-profile Syclone. Request one and it stays running on your furniture after the crew leaves, pushing the drying along rather than leaving it to the room.
After that it is about circulation. A ceiling fan, the HVAC fan, and an open door to the patio will dry a sofa much faster than a sealed room with still air. Before leaving, we give you a realistic drying time for your pieces.
Plenty of Cave Creek homes lean Western, with leather sofas, club chairs, and recliners in the great room. Hot, dry air and strong sun take a toll on hide, and leather in a sunny great room can stiffen and crack well before its time. Regular care keeps it from getting there, and once a year is a sensible rhythm for pieces that get daily use.
A common leather setup: a leather sofa and a leather recliner, both cleaned and conditioned, comes to $655 online, which bills at the $750 visit minimum.
Anything upholstered that lives in or around the house: couches and sectionals of every size, loveseats, recliners and lift chairs, swivel and accent chairs, ottomans, benches, upholstered headboards, dining seats, and loose pillows. Cloth or hide, living room or ramada.
Greasy armrests and headrests, dog and cat accidents, coffee, red wine, cooking grease, ink, and lingering smoke. The fabric decides the method more than the stain does, and a hidden test spot tells us how a piece will react when its tag is gone.
Up here we also see reddish desert dust ground into light fabrics, sunscreen and bug spray on outdoor cushions, and a smoky smell in chairs that sit near a kiva fireplace or a patio chiminea. Each of those needs its own pre-treatment, and we bring the right one when you tell us what you are dealing with.
Cave Creek homes sit on large desert lots, many reached by gravel or dirt drives, with open washes and trails right behind them. Fine dust rides in on every breeze and settles on fabric. Nobody vacuums a sofa as often as a floor, so that dust works into the weave, blends with skin oil on the arms and headrests, and slowly darkens the whole piece.
Life here also happens outdoors. Patio sofas and chaise cushions under a ramada or covered porch take direct dust, pollen, and the odd bird visit, and their fabric fades faster in full sun.
Horse and dog households see the most wear. A chair by the door becomes the spot to pull off boots, and the dog's corner of the sectional holds hair, dander, and the smell that comes with them.
Homes that sit closed up for part of the year, and casitas that only open for guests, collect a gray film on every fabric surface while nobody is looking. A cleaning before the season or before company arrives takes care of it.
A common Cave Creek setup: a sectional with up to 5 seats, two recliners, and a patio loveseat comes to $591.60 online, which bills at the $750 visit minimum.
Furniture rides along with whatever else you need done, whether that is carpet in the bedrooms, saltillo in the living room, or the cushions in the casita, so the whole property is finished in one trip up from the East Valley. Before the crew arrives, clear throw blankets and loose items off the pieces, let us know which patio furniture you want done, and keep pets in another room while we work. If a piece has a tag, leave it on. It tells us the safest way to clean it.
Each fabric gets its own method instead of one approach for everything.

Nearly every household fabric, and leather as well. The cleaning code on the tag comes first. When a piece is marked S or X, you hear that from us before we touch it, not after. Dry clean only (S code) pieces, along with silk and velvet, may cost more, and we confirm the price before we start.
Most pieces are dry within the hour, and a little longer for fabrics that hold moisture. Thick cushions and humid monsoon afternoons sit at the long end, while a breezy spring day in the foothills can have a sofa ready by lunch. Leather is ready to sit on almost right away.
Many of them, using a treatment aimed at the source. When urine has soaked deep into the foam or padding, the result is less certain, and we explain which case you have before you pay for it.
It is. Expect $275 online to clean a leather sofa, plus $145 if you want it conditioned afterward, which we recommend in this climate.
Once every 12 to 24 months suits most homes. Go shorter if dogs share the couch, if kids eat on it, or if a monsoon storm leaves the whole house gritty.
A sofa is $150 regular or $127.50 booked online. Dining chairs start at $15, and the box above prices sectionals, recliners, and patio pieces individually.
Yes. Patio sofas, sectionals, chaise loungers, and umbrella canopies all have their own prices in the box above, and they can go on the same visit as the indoor pieces.
