What it is not: housekeeping. We do not wipe counters, dust shelves, or pick up. It is an air and surface treatment for a home that is already clean, and anything visibly dirty needs cleaning first, since disinfecting is not degreasing.
Benefect Decon 30, EPA Reg. No. 84683-3-74771. It is a one-step botanical disinfectant built on thymol, the active compound in thyme oil, rather than bleach or quats. The EPA registers it as hospital-grade, and it is approved as a food-contact surface sanitizer that needs no rinse. We follow the label for dwell time and leave it in place, because wiping it off early is what stops it working.
Most people love the scent, herbal and a little minty. It fades, and it is not an air freshener. If anyone at home reacts to thymol, tell us when you book and we will bring a different disinfectant.

Yes. The single visit is the same treatment with no schedule attached.
It knocks down odor in the air, often before we leave. A smell that lives inside something, like urine in a carpet or a mattress, has to be cleaned out instead, and we will point you to the service that handles it.
No. Fogging a duct system is off label and can corrode the air handler coil. If we are out for air duct cleaning, you can add room fogging with a Decon 30 wipe of the registers for $175 up to 3 bedrooms or $250 for 4 to 7.
Fogging treats the air and surfaces, but it does not remove dust. After a big storm, carpet and duct cleaning pull the dust out, and a fog on the same visit finishes the job.
