We're in Cave Creek all the time, and we take on pet stain and odor removal across the city.
We go after pet urine in Cave Creek carpets and rugs with Un-Duz-It, an enzyme given time to digest the salts, then flush it out with hot water extraction. Price the spots in the box below and text it to book, or call (480) 389-8415.
Serving Tatum Ranch, Rancho Manana, the Black Mountain and Lone Mountain areas, the town core, and out toward Desert Mountain.

Is your carpet 100% wool?
Wool needs extra care and wool-safe products to protect it from browning or yellowing, so it's priced higher. Not sure? Pick No, since most homes have synthetic carpet. If we find wool on site, we confirm the price before we start.

Need the tile, a rug, or the dog's favorite chair done too? The instant quote tool totals every service together.
Older dogs lose some bladder control, sleep more deeply, and sometimes cannot make it to the door in time. It is nobody's fault, and it tends to follow a pattern: the same corner of the bedroom near where they sleep, the hallway on the way to the dog door, the spot beside the bed where they wait for you in the morning.
Cave Creek homes often add a second wrinkle. Most of the house is tile or saltillo, which wipes clean, so the accidents that matter end up on the few carpeted rooms and area rugs. Those rooms are usually bedrooms, which is exactly where you notice the smell most.
Clearing the odor matters for the dog as well as for you. A dog that can still smell an old spot is more likely to return to it, and getting the scent fully out is one of the easiest ways to break that loop.
An area rug on a saltillo floor hides a second problem. Urine soaks through the rug and onto the unsealed or worn clay underneath, and saltillo is porous enough to hold it. If a rug has been used as a target, lift a corner and check the tile under it before we come, so both can be planned for.
Plenty of dogs here spend the day outside on an acre of desert, and come in with dust, burrs, and sometimes whatever they rolled in. That outdoor soil mixes with body oil and leaves a gray, musty traffic path from the dog door to the bed. It is not an accident, but it smells like dog, and it responds to the same enzyme and rinse.

Every job starts with a black light pass over the room, since dried urine shows up under it even where you cannot see a stain.
The stain on top is the smallest part of an accident. Underneath, urine spreads through the carpet backing and into the pad, then dries into salts that release odor every time the air gets humid. That is why a spot that seemed fine all spring can smell again on the first sticky monsoon evening in July.
We treat each area with an enzyme, Un-Duz-It, and give it time to digest those salts. Only then do we clean, using hot water extraction to flush out what the enzyme broke down. Air movers get the carpet drying fast, so your dog is not settling onto a damp spot that night.
Most household pet sprays cover the smell with fragrance and leave the urine where it is. Others foam up and leave residue that grabs dirt, so the spot turns into a dark patch a few weeks later. A rental machine soaks the pad without pulling the urine back out, which spreads the problem wider. If you have tried all three on the same spot, that is normal. Tell us when you book so we know what is already in the carpet.
Blot, do not rub. Press paper towels or an old cloth into the spot and stand on it to pull up as much as you can, then blot once more with a little plain water. Leave it at that. The less product you add before we arrive, the easier the enzyme's job is, and a spot handled this way within the first hour or two usually responds very well.
Older accidents are often invisible on tan or beige carpet. We walk each room with you and check the usual places, along walls, beside beds, by doors, and in corners, so treatment goes where the urine actually is rather than only where you can see it.
Every treated area is priced by how bad it is: $30 for odor and dander only, $40 for a single accident, $75 for a few accidents, $110 for lots of visible spots, and $150 for repeat spots that have reached the pad. Carpet cleaning is $55.25 a room or staircase online ($65 regular), and a long hallway is $42.50. If the dog has taken over a fabric sofa, pet treatment on it starts at $85. Cave Creek visits carry a $750 minimum.
A few typical Cave Creek setups:
A spot used again and again before anyone caught it can carry urine deep in the pad. We treat it in place. Replacing pad or pulling up carpet is not something we offer.
On a spot like that, the odor may drop a great deal without vanishing completely. We point out those areas on the walkthrough, before work starts, so you know what to expect from each one.
Pick up dog beds, toys, and water bowls from the carpeted rooms. If you know where the accidents are, a sticky note on the wall above each one saves time, though we check each room either way. Put away anything on the floor of the closets you want treated, since dogs often hide in there when they are not feeling well.
Cat urine is far more concentrated than dog urine, and cats tend to pick one hidden corner and return to it for months. That makes cat spots some of the strongest odors we treat, and the most likely to have reached the pad. The process is the same, and it usually helps a great deal, but we will be straight with you about a corner that has been used for a long time.
Carpet near the end of its life is the other honest case. If urine has broken down the backing or the carpet is already worn through in the dog's path, cleaning will make it smell better but will not make it new. We tell you that rather than letting you pay for results the carpet cannot give.
Add your rooms and treated areas online, or phone (480) 389-8415 and describe what the dog has been up to.
Please reach us at (480) 389-8415 if you cannot find an answer to your question.
If it is happening every day, blot fresh spots with plain water and paper towels and hold off a few weeks while you sort out the cause with your vet. If the smell itself is pulling the dog back to the same spots, treating now can help.
Often. A room a dog sleeps in every night builds up a lived-in smell from dander and body oil even with no accidents, and the $30 odor and dander level is meant for exactly that.
Vinegar, peroxide on wool, and anything hot on a fresh spot, since heat sets it. Skip the rental machine too, because it wets the pad without removing the urine.
Tile and saltillo are a separate service that can be quoted for the same visit. Saltillo is porous, so urine can soak in and needs a proper clean rather than a mop.
Yes. Rugs are cleaned in place on your floor and priced by size. Mention the accidents when you book so we plan for them.
In a closed room, the yard, or out with someone for a couple of hours is ideal. Treated carpet should stay clear of paws until it dries, which is usually quick with the air movers running.
