AC Coil Cleaning for the Phoenix Area

5-Star Rated · Google Guaranteed · Fully Insured

Your air conditioner runs six months a year in the Valley, and everything it pulls through the system settles somewhere. Dust and grime coat the evaporator coil inside, and debris packs the condenser coil outside.

None of it triggers a breakdown. It just makes the system work harder for the same result, which you feel in longer run times and higher summer bills.

The difference between a cleaning and a good cleaning is time. We take ours.

What Your Neighbors Are Saying

Our HVAC Cleaning Process

  1. We look at the coils before we quote a thing. Condenser outside, evaporator inside, and we tell you what we actually see. Sometimes one is packed and the other is fine, and we will say so rather than selling you both.
  2. Power down, panels off, and the debris comes out first. System off at the disconnect before anything is touched. Then we pull the leaves, cottonwood, grass clippings, and dust out of the cabinet and off the fins and vacuum it away instead of pushing it deeper into the coil, which is exactly what a garden hose does.
  3. Coil cleaner with real dwell time. Professional coil cleaner across every fin, given the time it needs to break down the greasy dust film that a rinse alone will not touch. This is the step most people skip, and it is the difference between a coil that looks clean and one that is clean.
  4. The rinse depends on which coil it is. A condenser coil outside gets a low-pressure rinse straight through the fins, back the direction the debris came in, so the buildup leaves instead of packing deeper. No pressure washer, because bent fins choke airflow worse than the dirt ever did and they do not straighten back out. An evaporator coil inside your air handler sits over a drain pan, so it gets a self-rinsing foam cleaner that breaks down and carries out with the condensate. Flooding an indoor coil to save time is how a pan overflows into a ceiling.
  5. Buttoned up, and you see it yourself. Panels back on, system back on, and we walk you out to the coil. You should be able to see daylight through fins that were packed solid when we got there.

Protect Your HVAC System Investment

Professional cleaning and maintenance help homeowners maintain cleaner air circulation, reduce unnecessary buildup, support system performance, extend equipment lifespan, and keep homes more comfortable.

Complete HVAC Cleaning Services

Your HVAC system moves thousands of cubic feet of air through your home every day. Keeping key components clean helps reduce buildup and maintain proper airflow. We specialize in coil cleaning: the condenser coil outside and the evaporator coil inside. Blower assemblies, drain pans, and mechanical work belong to your HVAC company.

The Coils Are the Job

Coils are where the work actually is. Every bit of air your system moves passes through the evaporator coil inside and over the condenser coil outside. When those fins pack with dust, pet hair, and Valley grit, the system fights for every degree: longer cycles, worse airflow, higher bills, and more wear on a compressor that is expensive to replace.

Cleaning the coils is the highest-value thing you can do for a system short of replacing parts. We clean the condenser outside, the evaporator inside, or both, with coil cleaner and a controlled rinse that gets between the fins without bending them.

Every system is different, and results depend on the condition, age, and maintenance history of the equipment.

Related: Air Duct Cleaning

Air ducts are a separate service with their own process and equipment. If your concern is dust coming out of the vents rather than how the system is running, start there.

Signs Your HVAC System May Need Cleaning

What Arizona Puts Your HVAC Equipment Through

A Valley system runs harder than almost anywhere in the country. Six months of near-continuous cooling load, fine desert dust that gets past standard filters, and monsoon humidity all work on the same components year after year.

None of this shows up as a breakdown. It shows up as longer run times, a system that struggles on the hottest afternoons, and higher summer bills.

HVAC Cleaning FAQs

Please reach us at (480) 389-8415 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

How often should HVAC systems be cleaned?

Most Valley systems benefit from equipment cleaning every one to two years, since they run six months a year under a heavy dust load. Condition, age, and maintenance history all change that.

Does HVAC cleaning improve airflow?

Removing buildup from the evaporator coil helps restore airflow the system lost as it accumulated. Results depend on how much buildup was there to begin with.

Do you repair HVAC systems?

No. We clean coils, indoor and outdoor.

Do you clean air handlers?

Yes. Evaporator coil cleaning is $350 per unit.

Is HVAC cleaning the same as air duct cleaning?

No. HVAC cleaning is the equipment itself. Air duct cleaning is the ductwork that carries the air through your house.

Do you provide dryer vent cleaning?

Yes. See dryer vent cleaning, from $129 with no visit minimum in our core cities.

Can HVAC cleaning reduce dust in my home?

It can help, since a dirty coil moves dust every time the system cycles. Duct cleaning usually does more for visible dust, and the two are often done together.

How long does HVAC cleaning take?

Time depends on access and how loaded the coils are.
