Material comes first. The wrong solution on wool causes browning, dye bleed, or fiber damage that cleaning cannot undo, so we identify what you own before anything touches it.
Wool, Persian, oriental, and hand-knotted rugs are normal work for us, cleaned right in your home. The only rug we do not clean is one with viscose in it, even a blend, and we tell you before starting if that is what you have.

Only the per-foot cleaning price is discounted online. The per-rug extras stay the same either way.
Lay a tape along the long edge, then the short edge, and round to the nearest foot. That is all the calculator needs. A rug sold as 8x10 is often a few inches short of that, and the tag size is close enough to price from.
Round, oval, and odd shapes: choose the standard size that would cover it. We measure again at the house and say the number out loud before we begin, so you hear any change first.
Older Mesa homes from the 70s and 80s often have wall-to-wall carpet with an area rug on top of it in the living room. Clean only the rug, and it goes right back down onto the dirt underneath. That room of carpet is $55.25 online on the same visit, and doing both together is the most common way a single-rug job in Mesa grows past the minimum.
