Plenty of homes in Westbrook Village, Ventana Lakes, and Trilogy sit empty for part of the year. A closed house still takes in fine desert dust around the doors and through the return vents, and with nobody walking on the carpet, it settles deep into the pile.
Booking a cleaning shortly before you are back for the season means you come home to fresh carpet, not months of settled dust. Part-time residents often add tile, a sofa, or the dryer vent to the same visit.

What leaves it alone: how dirty the carpet is or how long it has been. Heavier soil just means more passes, on our time.
Full-time households with pets or kids do best on a yearly cleaning. Most other homes can go 18 months. A lightly used home can stretch longer, though spots always come out easier while they are fresh.
