A new hose costs little. What matters is the install: the dryer set at the right distance from the wall so the hose cannot flatten, a short and straight path, and both ends sealed so there is no sag for lint to settle in. If a connection we made works loose, we come back and redo it at no charge.

Larger homes in FireRock and the Golden Eagle area sometimes have a second washer and dryer in a casita or guest wing. Each line is priced as its own package, but the $500 minimum is counted once for the visit, not once per dryer.
That makes the second line the easiest thing to add. A basic cleaning on the main dryer plus a basic cleaning on the casita is $258 of work, still billed at $500, so the guest line rides along without raising the bill. It also tends to need it: a dryer that runs a few times a month still leaves lint behind, and a quiet vent is where birds nest.
Custom builds here put the laundry wherever the plan worked, so a vent can cross half the house and several elbows before it reaches a roof cap. None of that is priced in. Run length, the number of turns, a second story, a roof exit, and a 1980s Crestview line that has never once been brushed all leave the package price where it is.
