We do dryer vent cleaning in Glendale all the time.
Glendale dryer vent cleaning clears the lint-packed line behind your dryer, the usual reason clothes need a second run. Pick a package below and send it to book, or call (480) 389-8415, 7am to 8pm daily.
The difference between a cleaning and a good cleaning is time. We take ours.
Price it yourselfGlendale calls usually start the same way: towels that come out damp after a full cycle, a laundry room that feels like an oven, or a newer dryer flashing a vent warning. In the older ranch homes around Glen Lakes and in the Arrowhead two-stories alike, the machine is rarely the problem. The line it exhausts into is.
Pfaff Cleaning Co. is locally owned. The main dryer vent cleaning page explains our method and the areas we serve.

Which service option?
Stacked washer and dryer, or a tight closet?

Pricing more than a dryer vent? The instant quote tool prices every service at once.
A new hose costs little. What matters is the install: the dryer set back far enough that the hose is not squashed, a short and straight path with no droop, and both ends sealed so lint cannot gather in a low spot.

Every package includes the whole line. From the back of the dryer to the outside cap, brushed end to end, working from both ends when the run calls for it. What you add on top is up to you.
What goes back behind the dryer matters as much as the cleaning. Foil hose and plastic elbows are common in Glendale laundry rooms, and neither one lasts. Plastic turns brittle in Arizona heat and cracks, and broken pieces end up inside the duct. A connection that pops loose behind the machine blows hot lint into the wall cavity, which is exactly the hazard you were trying to remove.
We also hear from people whose dryer started throwing error codes after a rushed cleaning, because it was pushed back against a crushed hose that was never reconnected properly.
Our rates are posted and do not change once we arrive. That covers the full run to the exterior cap, both ends where needed, semi-rigid aluminum when a hose is part of your package, and a look at the lint pile before it gets bagged if you want to see it.
From jobs across the Valley.

Glendale lines run from a few feet through a garage or side wall in a single-story ranch home to long upstairs runs in the newer two-stories that cross the attic before reaching the roof. Every one is brushed in full, from the dryer connection to the cap, and long lines get worked from both ends. Lint is pulled out, the exterior hood is cleared, and the hose is inspected. Condos and townhomes are fine too. The full method is on our main dryer vent cleaning page.
We slide the dryer back, check both ends of the hose for gaps or leaks, and position it so it will not kink or flatten against the wall. If you want to see the lint that came out, just ask.
A hose in good shape goes back on at no charge. A torn or crushed one does not, because that is where the next blockage starts. Upgrading to semi-rigid aluminum moves you to the hose package, with both ends sealed and clamped, and it is covered by our guarantee, so if a connection we made ever loosens, we fix it free. If you pass on the new hose, the damaged one stays off and reconnecting it is up to you.
Now and then the problem is not lint at all, for example a duct crushed inside a wall or a joint that has pulled apart. We replace hoses but do not rebuild duct runs, and we tell you that before you pay for a cleaning that would not solve it.
Summer dust storms sweep through the West Valley, and the dust that lands on the exterior hood mixes with damp lint and builds up on the flap. The best cap is a simple flap that swings open when the dryer runs. Screened caps clog with lint and dust and choke the line. A line that sits unused for a while can also attract nesting birds, and we remove any nest we find.
LG d80, d90, or d95, Whirlpool and Maytag F29, Samsung dC, or the clogged vent light on a GE usually point at the vent, not the dryer. Blowing the line out with a leaf blower jams lint into the bends, and store rod kits can snap off and get stuck inside.
The National Fire Protection Association reports that U.S. fire departments respond to an average of roughly 14,600 home fires a year involving clothes dryers or washing machines, and failure to clean is the leading contributing factor.

Glendale is a planned trip for us, so a group day works well. Get ten or more homes on your street or in your HOA booked for the same date, and everyone pays our commercial per-unit rate, which is well below the single-home price. Text (480) 389-8415 with the number of homes and we will price it before anyone commits.
Glendale has two very different kinds of dryer vents. In the 1970s through 90s neighborhoods around Glen Lakes and Sahuaro Ranch, the laundry often sits in the garage or a hall closet with a fairly short run out a side wall. Short sounds easy, but many of those lines have served several dryers over the years and may never have been cleaned, and the flexible foil or vinyl hose behind the machine is often the original. It crushes, catches lint in every ridge, and is the weakest link in the system.
Newer two-story homes in Arrowhead Ranch, Arrowhead Lakes, and Sierra Verde often put the laundry room upstairs. Those lines travel a long way through the attic with several elbows before they reach the roof, and every turn is a place for lint to settle and build.
We plan each Glendale visit to finish in one trip. If the air ducts or the HVAC coils are due as well, put them on the same quote and we take care of all of it that day.
We cross the Valley to do it right, not to do it fast.
Every job has been done by our own team. We hold a 5.0 rating on Google.
Every Glendale neighborhood gets the same flat packages, with no tax added and no hidden fees.
Glen Lakes and the Sahuaro Ranch area. We show you the condition of the hose behind the dryer and tell you whether it should be replaced.
Arrowhead Ranch, Arrowhead Lakes, and Sierra Verde: many of these homes have tile roofs. We walk tile roofs with care and clean the run from inside when a roof is not safe to stand on.
The Westgate and Thunderbird Paseo areas. A mix of single-story and two-story homes, plus townhomes and condos, all handled the same way.
The neighborhoods between them are covered too.

Roughly every 10 months for an average household. Go sooner with a big family, lots of laundry, a long run to the roof, or pets that shed.
It depends on the length of the run and how packed it is, and the lint trap housing adds time.
Yes. Roof exits are usually cleaned from both ends. When the run is straight enough that we can see daylight through the cap from inside, the exit is confirmed clear without going up. On taller condo and townhome buildings we clean the whole run from inside.
Yes. A brand new dryer pushing into a clogged line still runs long and hot. It is the vent that fills up, not the machine.
Yes. The hose packages swap a torn or crushed hose for semi-rigid aluminum, sealed and clamped at both ends.
A restricted vent raises fire risk because airflow drops and heat builds up inside the dryer and the line.
Packages are flat priced: basic cleaning, cleaning plus the lint trap or a premium hose, or full service, and the box above shows your total. Stacked units and tight closets add $60 to any package, since the dryer takes longer to pull out and set back.
Yes. Salons, gyms, and shared laundry rooms run their dryers nearly all day, so their lines fill much faster than a home line. Those jobs are priced on our commercial dryer vent cleaning page.
