A single whole-house price has to assume an average house, and few houses are average. With per-vent pricing, each opening is something you paid for, so each one gets cleaned like it, and we do not move to the next until the current one is finished.

Vent cleaning covers the supply registers, the returns, and the duct runs behind them. Sanitization is an optional step afterward that fogs the living space and wipes the registers down with the same product. We never fog inside the ductwork, since that can corrode the coils in the air handler.
