We're in Peoria all the time, and we take on natural stone cleaning across the city.
We clean Peoria travertine, slate and flagstone, then finish with a clear seal or a color-enhancing seal if you want a richer tone. Enter your square footage below and text the total, or call (480) 389-8415 any day, 7am to 8pm.
The difference between a cleaning and a good cleaning is time. We take ours.
Price it yourselfPeoria has a lot of real stone: travertine entries and showers in Vistancia and the Westwing Mountain foothills, slate foyers in some of the older homes south of the 101, and flagstone or travertine around backyard pools all over town. Hard water and blowing dust take the color out of all of it.

Grout repair priced by area, not discounted. Stone showers, backsplashes, mosaic or small-format stone floors, and inlays or borders quoted from a photo.
Saltillo or Mexican tile? It cares like stone, but it is clay, not stone, so it is priced on our tile and grout page.
Mosaics, small-format stone, inlays, borders, and dividers take more time to do right, so they are priced from a photo. Text one over and we reply with a number.

A clear sealer guards the stone and leaves the look you have now. A color enhancing sealer guards it too, and it also deepens the tones already in the stone, so faded travertine turns warm again and chalky slate goes back to dark charcoal and rust. It does not tint the stone a new color. It brings up what is there.
You decide standing on your own floor. We seal one small test patch with each product and you compare them in your own light. A lot of people arrive set on clear and switch once they see the two side by side, and some stick with clear. Either way the choice is made looking at real stone, not a sample card.
We clean and seal marble. Bringing back the shine on dull or etched marble means grinding the surface with diamond abrasives, which is a separate trade with separate machines, and we do not do it.
We do not repair, replace, or remove stone or tile. A cracked or loose piece is a job for a stone or tile contractor, and we flag it before we begin.
Three problems look alike. Soil sits on the surface, and the floor looks better when it is wet. An etch mark is a dull patch where acid touched the stone, and it stays dull while everything around it is clean. Dullness across the whole floor is usually a worn finish. Cleaning and sealing fixes the first and helps protect against the second. The other two need refinishing, and we will tell you which you are looking at before you spend money.
Most of the damage done to stone in Peoria showers is done while scraping off hard water. A razor removes calcium quickly and scratches the stone in the process. An acid cleaner dissolves the deposit and the surface of travertine, marble, or limestone right along with it.
We use neither. Deposits get stone-matched products and real dwell time, we remove what can safely come off, and if buildup has fused to the surface we tell you rather than trade your stone for a faster result.
Travertine, marble, and limestone are made of calcium. The acidic cleaner that does fine on porcelain bites into them on contact, leaving a dull patch where stone is missing, and no cleaning puts it back. People who ruin stone are rarely careless. They grabbed a tile cleaner because the floor looked like tile.
So you are paying for the stone to be identified first and for chemistry that suits it: pH-neutral products, controlled dwell time, and a sealer chosen for that specific stone, so the finish is intact when we leave.

Stone is full of tiny pores. Without a seal, hard water, cooking oil, and spilled coffee soak in and stay. We always clean before sealing, because a sealer laid over soil holds that soil in place for as long as the seal lasts.
Whatever the stone, from a shower wall to a pool deck or cool deck out back, it gets deep cleaned and then sealed so the color returns and stays protected.
Sun through west-facing glass, hard water splashing from showers and sprinklers, and constant foot traffic all wear at the surface. Travertine turns chalky, slate goes dusty gray, and limestone looks flat. The deep clean pulls the buildup out, and the sealer you choose decides how much of the depth comes back.
An etch mark stays visible through any sealer. Everything around it still comes out cleaner, richer, and protected.
More on travertine: Travertine Cleaning & Sealing.
Peoria's water carries a lot of dissolved minerals, and porous travertine draws them in rather than letting them sit on the surface. You see it as cloudy rings around sinks, white crust at the base of shower walls, and pale patches wherever a sprinkler head hits a flagstone patio.
Out back, a travertine pool deck in Fletcher Heights or Desert Harbor takes direct sun, chlorinated splash, and the dust that rides in on every summer storm. Those decks often go years between cleanings, and it shows in the color.
If your Peoria home has stone inside and a travertine deck outside, both go on the same visit and the same quote.

Travertine, marble, limestone, slate, and flagstone, indoors and out.
Check a chip or a pit. Real travertine has natural holes and the same color all the way through. A porcelain copy has a printed face over a plain body. We confirm it on site before any product goes down.
No. Etching is acid damage that needs refinishing, which we do not do. We clean and seal the rest of the stone and show you which spots will remain.
Both protect. Color enhancing also deepens the natural tones, which suits faded travertine and slate.
Every one to three years for most indoor stone in Peoria. Showers, kitchens, and patios in sprinkler range need it sooner, and a sunny pool deck sits at the short end.
Yes, along with cool deck. We deep clean first, then seal clear or color enhancing, and the deck can share a visit and a quote with your indoor stone.
Yes. Only pH-neutral products touch marble or any other natural stone.
We cannot promise a lifespan inside a shower. Some keep their seal for years and some lose it fast, and a short life is not a sign of poor work. Water, soap, calcium, ventilation, and moisture behind the tile are outside our control. Running the fan and using a squeegee help.
No, glass is not something we take on, though we handle the stone, tile, and grout around it. For hard water on the glass we suggest Bio-Clean Hard Water Stain Remover, which has no acid in it, so nearby stone and grout stay safe. Try a small spot first, especially on coated glass.
If the goal is color and protection, usually yes, with a deep clean and a clear or color enhancing seal. If the dullness is etching deep enough to need grinding, that is stone fabricator work, and we will tell you which case you have.
