We will not clean a mattress with an active bed bug problem, no matter the price. They hide in the frame, behind baseboards, and inside walls, and no cleaning reaches them there. Have pest control treat the home first, then call us and we will clean the mattress afterward. The same rule applies to fleas or any other live infestation.
A few hours in most cases. We still tell people to allow up to 24 hours, because covers and foams let go of moisture at different speeds and we would rather finish early than late. A morning appointment gives the bed the whole day. Leave the sheets off, turn on the ceiling fan, and crack a window if the weather allows. If you would like one of our commercial air movers aimed at it while we are there, just ask.
Nearly every mattress comes out visibly cleaner and smelling fresher. That is the everyday result.
A stain only gets called permanent after we have worked it as far as a mattress can safely go, which stops well short of soaking it. Urine that reached the core, dye that transferred from bedding, and spots already set by the wrong store product are the usual holdouts, and we name them before we begin.

A fogger turns it into a fine mist that settles over the mattress and drifts through the room, so the surface gets treated without getting wet, which matters more on a mattress than anywhere else in the house. It knocks out odor at the source, and it is the main reason many people book. It is optional and priced per mattress.
Urine on a mattress travels deep, and a surface clean does not reach the source of the smell. The pet treatment is an enzyme pre-treatment priced by severity. When a mattress is soaked through, it may not be worth saving, and we will tell you that before you pay for a treatment that cannot fix it.
